Who Are We?

We are driven high school students committed to inspiring our peers by sharing our passion for STEM and connecting them to the community.

What Do We Do?

We set up the KHK program in middle schools all across the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, particularly in those who do not have any STEM involvement.

This program is set up as an afterschool activity that middle school students can sign up to participate in. We have developed a strong curriculum to teach them the fundamentals of robotics (mechanical design and basic coding) then use their newly developed skills to form a Lego Robotics FLL team for the school.

We coach these FLL teams and personally mentor them throughout the entire competition season as well as travelling to tournaments.

Why Did We Start?

Both of KHK's founders, Lakshmi and Ashvatth, were exposed to the STEM field from a very young age and were given so many opportunities to be a part of that community.

Residing in the Silicon Valley, it can be very surprising that so many students do not have such opportunities even today. We hope to provide these children with the same experiences we were fortunate to have! We want to inspire a passion for STEM in our peers and connect more students to robotics.

The perfect way to do this: forming FLL robotics teams in every school, as we participated in that same league in middle school!
